This campaign received the coveted People’s Choice Award and a Silver Award in Product & Packaging at AIGA Alaska’s The Big One 2022: Annual Design Competition!
Part of a series of Alaskan apparel for Great Northern Cannabis, this absolutely beaming beluga whale breaks free from the chilly waters to enjoy a toke while taking in the scenery visible from Beluga Point. The illustration is paired with hand-drawn typography, encased and spilling out of a rope frame, inspired by vintage nautical posters and a magical world Under the Sea. Designed to appeal to fishermen and mermaids alike, this 6-color design was printed on crop & oversized hoodies.
